I’ll be tasting a variety of new wines and wines great for the approaching summer heat.
- A new Sauvignon Blanc from the Piedmont in Northern Italy. I’m very excited to show this as it is a rare thing to find high quality Sauvignon Blanc in northern Italy at an everyday price.
- Berthet Rayne Cotes du Rhone Rose. A delightful blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Clairette. Juicy and snappy.
- Velenosi Lacrima di Morro d’alba. A bounty of purple fruits, violets, and a light to medium body make this a summer table staple.
- A Moravia Agria made in Manchuela Spain, imported by Mary Taylor. After tasting these with Mary herself I was smitten by how delicious and versatile this wine was. It was a first for me tasting this grape and I think folks will be just as pleased as I was.
