Friday’s tasting will be of Umbrian and Tuscan wines! Two neighboring regions but more like cousins as their wines share so many common varietals and characteristics. We’ll be tasting four wines:

• Usiglian Del Vescovo Sangiovese Rose– a fresh and snappy rose of 100% Sangiovese.
• Barberani Orvieto Superoire– A favorite white wine of mine from Umbria, made from Grechetto and Trebbiano.
• Falesco Vitiano- A lovely Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot blend. Immediately Drinkable.
• Due Figlie Maremma Toscana Rosso– Rich and structured wine made from the Winemaker of Sassicaia! 90% Sangiovese, 10% Syrah.
